Florida Middles

This is referring to the middle of the trip, not the group of kids we call the Middles. There are lots of Middles and lots of things in the middle of this trip, so it tracks.

There was always a game going on.

We had some creative family prayers.

Melissa's elaborate activity (including a scavenger hunt and gift opening where everyone got their very own wig) was a hilarious highlight. We were trying on wigs, running up and down stairs, going into town like a bunch of crazies, and having a great time in general.

The boat and snorkel tour was a fun activity for the whole group! I did vomit a number of times, but I am now vowing to always take motion sickness on any snorkel tour. Never forget!

(And I forgot to mention that Conner got a massive sunburn on the first day when he tried to eliminate his farmer's tan. He spent the rest of the week borrowing hats and clothes from the older generations. Ha ha. )

There were many more beach evenings, games, meals, walks, bike riding, and pool swimming. Glorious.

While the Middles and up enjoyed a new level of independence,
the Littles impressed us with their stamina in the pool. I swear they were out there swimming for 15 hours a day.
